The importance of pleasure.

The more I see clients, the more evident it has become that the inability to experience pleasure–known as anhedonia–lies at the root of anxiety, stress, depression, and sexual problems.  Let’s get busy with cultivating healthy hedonism and making ourselves healthier and happier.

And what is health hedonism?  That is up to you to decide.  Not your parents, not your culture, not your government, not your superego!  Just you.  Healthy hedonism is learning to cultivate the pleasures that feel good and enhance your life. Food for thought for the day.
